🏏 Ground Force Day – Volunteers Needed! 🏏

Join us to help blow off the cobwebs and get St James’ ready for the new season! We need help with painting, gardening, tidying, and DIY tasks. Every bit of help counts!

Spring is here, and it's time to prepare our club grounds! We’re calling on members, supporters, and volunteers to assist with important maintenance for Ground Force Day. Your help will ensure the facilities are ready for the season ahead.

What Needs Doing?

 Tasks include:

- Building a new shed
- Painting the umpires' room and ceiling
- Re-laying net bases
- Hanging sight screens
- Cutting back overgrown bushes
- Cleaning changing rooms, toilets, and showers

Additional jobs include sanding benches and repairing net structures.

Why It Matters:

 Your support helps create a safe and welcoming space for players and visitors. This is a community effort, and together we can achieve a lot.

How You Can Help:

 Bring any useful tools (paintbrushes, gardening gloves, etc.) and wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Refreshments provided!
