๐Ÿš€ Looking Forward

The AGM also addressed the following topics:

  • Coaching Team Update

We are proud to continue encouraging coaching courses for all our senior men's and ladies' members, as well as promoting these opportunities for our juniors. Supporting the development of coaches within the club is a vital part of our growth and success.

This year, weโ€™re excited to announce that we are aiming to put six members through their ECB Core Coaching Course, further strengthening our coaching team.

If youโ€™re interested in becoming a coach or exploring future coaching opportunities, please donโ€™t hesitate to get in touch with the club. Weโ€™d love to hear from you and support your journey into coaching!

  • Ground Update

Major improvements were made to the clubhouse in 2024, through the help of an ECB grant, to ensure that the changing rooms and ladies' toilets were adapted to better cater to our growing ladies' teams. The Club has also purchased a marquee, which will create further opportunities for the club in the future.

Currently, with it being winter, ongoing maintenance is being carried out, when the weather permits, to ensure our facilities are in top condition for the 2025 season.

We also have several opportunities for members to get involved and make a difference:

๐ŸŒฑ 2025 Ground Force Days โ€“ Mar25

Join us for our annual Ground Force Days in March! Weโ€™ll be working together to prepare the grounds for the new season, with tasks such as groundskeeping and general upkeep. Itโ€™s a fantastic opportunity to pitch in, meet fellow members, and help create a welcoming environment for all.

๐Ÿƒ Get Set Weekend โ€“ 5th & 6th April

Donโ€™t miss our Get Set Weekend on the 5th and 6th of April. This weekend will focus on team preparations and finalising the ground setup for the season ahead. Your support is crucial to ensuring everything is ready for a successful start to the season.

These volunteer events are a great way to contribute and help maintain our clubโ€™s facilities. Stay tuned for more details on how you can get involved, and thank you for your continued support as we work together to improve our grounds!

  • Questionnaire Results

As part of our ongoing commitment to improvement, we collected responses from 61 of our members through our Annual Survey. These valuable insights were reviewed and discussed during the committee meeting, helping to shape decisions for the upcoming season.

Thank you to everyone who participated โ€“ your feedback is vital in ensuring we continue to best meet the needs of the majority of our players, members, and supporters. To see these responses, please click the link below:
