Indoor B Team Review

17 Mar 2009

A Great season with anither title to add to the ever growing trophy cabinet

Toby led the side from the front being the pick of the bowlers with 6 wickets at an incredible run rate of 6.68 per over and backed that up with 135 runs.

Neil Richardson was as expected exceptional with the bat getting 25 nearly every dig and at a very good rate too,

the rest of us followed in their slip stream and contributed when required, Matt Williams bowled with great pace up front and stopped any team getting away with a R/O of 8.29, Doug bowled well at times, batted well at times and clung onto msot catches taht came his way (usually off me at mid on to grab 6 wickets and 120 odd runs, Ownen when he playwed bowled quickly and rapped more than one set of gloves, Matt Smith kept tidily and got amnogst the runs with 119 runs and a couple of 25's, the old man of the squad somehow chipped in with 8 wickets as they looked for easy pickings off me after qukck men had roughed them up

Nailbiting victories over Denmead, Purbrook, Hayling and Curdridge showed some mettle to the team and showed how much they have gron as individuals the last few years (the younger ones that is) - Well done to all
