Portsmouth & Southsea Cricket Club

After reaching the final of the Hampshire Cricket League quiz last year, the P & S team have won the semi-final at Fareham by a huge 26 points.
The team of four was Mark & Simon Smith (replacing Chis after his knee op), Dave Peachey and John Townsend. Their total of 213 is believed to be the highest ever registered by the club. Quarter-final winners Sarisbury were left trailing by 32 points. The high point of the performance was a perfect 30 out of 30 scored on nicknames of British football teams.
