Match report First league game of the season and a great way to start. We won the toss and the team decided to field first.

A couple of early breakthroughs (Jim and Hussain) and a good run out (Sam and Hugo) and we had them on the ropes. Burridge worked hard to build a partnership through the middle overs and we kept things generally under control. A late wicket for Tom saw Burridge set us a target of 118 to win.

The chase was as good as we have ever chased as a group. Tom led the way with his first 40 not out, ably supported by Murtaza, before Jim and Jaheim crushed a few balls for boundaries to see us reach our target with 5 overs to spare. Well done all.
