Match report Winning the toss we opted to bat first (given our relatively inexperienced side). Skipper Devaansh started confidently but lost partner Ishaan to a run out before Ishaan had got going. Tom glided his first ball for 3 and kept a solid presence thereafter. He lost his skipper for company when Devaansh picked the wrong ball to go back to. Other partners rather came and went too with George, Tom's last mate as our 12 over ended with us posting 78.
Our oppos ran really well and struck the back wall too later on, but Devaansh snuck out a couple with 2 rare LBWs. Unfortunately we just hadn't been able to offer quite enough runs so we were beaten in 6 overs.
