Match report A great effort from our youngsters against a older and more experienced opposition. In our bowling effort wickets were claimed by Gully (who's overall figures were the pick on the night) Charlie and Jim with a couple of run outs to help us along. Nevertheless we were faced with a stiff target as Havant batted well to set us 175.
In reply Devaansh rushed to retirement, striking at an impressive 150%. Indie too got back in the hutch in only two balls less (and having cracked a couple of sixes). Solid late order order work, including a 6 from U11 Sammy, saw us stay broadly in the hunt. However the momentum couldn't be sustained and it was left to Finn alone to try to grab 27 off the final 2 overs. Despite a defiant last ball 4 we ended up short but a good game where we again will have learned plenty. Well done all.
