Match report Playing one down (and needing a stand in 'keeper) skipper Jacob took the gloves and watched his bowling attack keep things really tight despite not picking up the wickets we might have liked. The one we did get was thanks to Max beating his swinging opponent and Jacob whipping off the bails. JP was unlucky too when his flick failed to knock the bails off for what would otherwise have been a clear run out.
With the bat we showed more urgency than our oppos. Jacob retiring well (hitting the ceiling more often than the back wall) and Talitha's busy knock beaten by the bounce to be run out. A limping Max also fell the same way but Felix and Harrison saw us home with 4 overs to spare and few alarms. A good start folks.
