Match report Back on track. Winning the toss Captain Clem put them in. The Chef & Chick started strongly and once we got the sniff of wickets we kept going. Graham's first wicket came from a cracking catch from the sprawling George Chapman. George followed up his fielding effort with a good spell and a brace. The only low spot was Alex pulling up lame after his one maiden. Sam replaced him and bowled with a good shape and was rewarded with two fa. As the innings drew to a close Clem asked the spin twins JD & Ryan to tidy things up which they duly did with aplom.
Left chasing 97 we knew we'd get there but the question was how many points we'd get doing it. Jack showed again what a good bat he's becoming with a mix of watchfulness and aggression - not least a straight six off their opening spinner and he saw us home without giving a chance. Both Dan and Sam showed flashes of their shot making and Matt was caught rather in two minds but we were home within 22 overs. Well done to all particularly to Ryan and Jack Till who had decent, although not too taxing, debuts.
