Match report A late pull out saw the A Team manager don the whites. It can't be right - you don't see Sir Alex (or maybe, more appropriately, Tony Pulis) put on the boots but hey ho...Thanks to Ron "The Pencil" Fletcher for stepping into the scoring breach.
They started confidently as you'd expect from the unbeaten side in the division, running well and finding the back wall reguarly. We stuck to our guns though and decent fielding all round, particularly Jamie & Georges run outs, coupled with Fletch's top spell saw them post a decent but not unsurmountable score.
Or so I thought. Unfortunately our batting again let us down with only two scores in double figures and one of those courtesy of a dropped catch. The points tell the tale - full bowling but none for batting.
We need to step it up otherwise the drop looms - Happy New Year to all our readers!
