Match report Being asked to bat debutent Jacob W and old hand Henry got us off to a flyer with excellent running and striking. It was against the run of play when Jacob was caught off the net just before what would have been a deserved retirement. Henry and Tom soon settled to and both played very well to each retire. By the time Harrison and Jacob P got together we were well in the game. They too kept things flowing well and both walked off unbeaten having seen us past 150.
Our only batter not to make it to the crease, soon got us going in the field when Sam castled their main man in his first over. Two run outs for Tom, another one from the quick thinking Jacob W and a great combination from Henry and Harrison got us all the bowling points too alongside Henry tempting their returning retiree into finding Harrison's safe hands off the wall.
A convincing win from an inexperienced side growing in confidence with each game. Well done.
