Match report The tale of this one is a good knock from their opener and our foregoing threes trying - in vain - to find the back wall.
Putting them in Henry OH won us an early run out. A great caught and bowled and more good catching from Henry OH gave Jacob two wickets. Jacob again was in the game with a further run out and Henry F got in on the act to run out our last wicket. Despite great closing bowling from Talitha and Harrison their man batted through for a very good 47 giving them 100 on the board.
Henry was bowled by an excellent ball which was quick and clipped the top of off. Tom and Harrison mis-judged their leggie offering him catching practice. Jacob too tested the bowlers catching ability (which proved very good!) Henry was run out selflessly trying to help Talitha see us home. In the end, despite playing very well she holed out 29 short of our target. With 11 balls left we might reflect on what might have been with a bit more focus on our running rather than going for the big shots. Nevertheless I felt we played well and can move on with confidence.
