Match report We won the toss and elected to bat. Umar and Lenny opened the batting,with the early dismissal of Lenny trying to play across the line and was bowled,this was the start of the collapse. Cameron making his debut played a lovely pull shot to the boundary,then two shots later was out playing the same shot as Lenny. Tom was next out skipping down the wicket like an IPL player, missed the ball and was bowled. Harrison looked strong hitting a four and a two,followed by a nice shot to cow corner unfortunately straight into the hands of the fielder.Meanwhile Umar was still out there playing strong. The rest of the team in and out quickly due to the oppositions county bowler who in fact took 6 of the team. A superb display by Umar who carried his bat through the innings to retirement. Umar was last man standing with poor Jacob having to do all the running with him.
Considering the team is made up of some inexperienced & young players they all worked very well together,really sharp in the field. Jacob yet again more running as the ball was continuously played in his path.
Yaseer and Cameron took their first wicket for under 15s and you would of never known Tom had his first experience of wicket keeping.
