Match report Starting like a train Ollie and Harlan dashed out of the blocks with 60 on the board in 4 overs but after Ollie has departed and Harlan deservedly retired we lost our way somewhat. So much so we added less than 50 runs in the remaining 8 overs for the loss of 4 more wickets. With only 107 to defend we were second favourites at halfway.
Rather like our batting - but in reverse - we let them get a decent start. However, from over 4 onwards we were on the ball. Harlan got one to lift to get rid of their top gun and when Nick's first over collected their other reliable man we were in the driving seat. Pick of the bowlers though by far was Freddie who's flight and immaculate lengths plucked 2 for 8 off his entitlement. Requiring 36 off the last over Dan only yielded a single (and that came from an edge) to ensure we keep our unbeaten start going.
