Match report Fielding a depleted side again, P & S chose to bat first and began well with 30 from the first 6 overs. The introduction of Booth signalled a collapse to 33-3. Matt S then helped Jack, who was looking increasingly dominant, add 64 in 16 overs. Two more quick wickets reduced the score to 98 for 5 and then Jack was caught on the boundary at 127. Chis and Matt W raised the 150, but the last 4 wickets went for 7 runs.
The home side also started at a good tempo. The first wicket fell at 48 off 9 overs. Sam Pittman's run -a-ball 38 ended at 72 for 2 and Pearce left at 89 for 3, offering a slight opportunity for the visitors, but aggression from Cranch, Rob Pittman and Cowley ensured victory with 23 overs to spare.
