Match report 2nd game, 2nd win! with a 'weakened team' the B team continued their great start to the season with a very impressive win over a strong purbrook team. bowling first we did really well to limit them to 114. alex and jonno were again very economical with alex unplayable and jonno rapid. a much improved fielding display was produced with no needless overthows and huge amount of wides conceded. well done to everyone for that. 115 should have been a easier chase than we made. loosing jonny m early was a setback as well as lex and matt but ollie 'zipper' zee batted really well for 29. when he retired jonno came in and joined the skipper in a good partnership with jonno adding valuable runs and a few sixes! never thought i'd write that sentence! with ollie dismissed straight away it was left for the skipper to bat the remaining overs and see us over the line! but this is a team game and without the efforts of the other lads we wouldn't have come close! selection for next game will be a difficult blessing! lets keep going

PS from matt benfield on holiday well done my boys top stuff gonna be hard for me and mike to re join the "B" team
