Match report A good win against a side who were at the beginning of their learning curve. Peter "The Coin" Millett lead the side opening the bowling with George and got us off to a tidy start. The next bowling pair took the game by the scruff of the neck taking 5 wickets between them. 3 including an excellent caught & bowled by Theo and 2 for the gun barrell straight Will. Add to that a run out by the ever alert George and we were well placed. A snick and a second catch behind by Ollie saw Henry pick up a scalp. Finally Fin rounded things off with a wicket with his last ball.
After a slow 1st over without bat hitting ball our openers Theo and Will exploded into life with Theo rounding off a good night for him with his top score, while Will carried on where he left off at the Festival. Kyle and Henry showed they are getting a good running understanding. Peter and George both scored well with Peter hitting really well straight and George picking up a boundary. With us well in front our last pair need to preserve wickets and so they did. With regular boundaries from both guys the only blemish was a run out that could have been avoided if we had run the whole run rather than relaxing too soon.
All in all a really good performance to sign off our home matches this season.
