Match report Lost the toss again and lost the match. Whilst the ball was new it was pretty unplayable for a while. It did get easier as the day went on and the ball got softer (when they batted!!). We were soon 17 for 3 off 10 but thanks to a great knock from ash and contributions from evs, ali and sam we got to 197 for 7 (about 30 short really). Had to bowl and field really well and have some luck. Fielding was fine but no luck and the bowlers except for johno and kieron bowled too many four balls especially a spate of full tosses and long hops. They only had two bats though and if we had got either of them early I am sure we would have still won. Took them to the last but one over and barring a very tight run out decision in favour of their star bat it could have been even closer. Need to win this week coming up to keep the momentum. Keep the faith!!
