QUIZ TEAM ARE COUNTY RUNNERS-UP

A good performance from the quiz team of Mark and Simon Smith, Dave Peachey and John Townsend enabled P & S to finish as runners-up in the Hampshire League Quiz final held at Compton & Chandler's Ford.
The holders, Whiteparish, finished third, while Aldershot regained the trophy they have won so many times. The second highest scorers in the semi-final, Sherfield on Loddon, were well adrift in bottom place.
