An exciting summer’s evening of cricket is coming to St James’ Cricket Ground on Friday 15 August, as the Southsea Silver dust off their pads (and maybe their knees) for a much-anticipated rematch against the P&S U21’s
Made up of P&S legends from days gone by, the Silver Foxes bring decades of experience… and perhaps a slightly slower sprint between the wickets. Last year, the young guns took the honours, leaving the Foxes trailing 1–0 in the bragging rights stakes. This time, the old guard are determined to turn back the clock, and the scoreline.
Off the field, we’ve got all the ingredients for a perfect summer’s evening: bar open with cold drinks flowing, and Papa Tom’s pizza oven fired up!
