Quite apart from the league season bubbling up nicely with plenty to play for our 1s, 3s and W10 sides we are dashing towards the socials and awards days as we move into September.
- Starting with the Silver Foxes vs the U19s on Friday 30th August, why not come a long to see if any of the foxes can actually move (let alone still play!). Music, food and no doubt plenty of laughs as the legends explain to our current stars “the older I get, the better I was ;-)”
- Next up is our calendar highlight. The 40 - a full day of inter club challenge, music, raffles, BBQ, Drift Bar and more - the works on Saturday 7th September. Cheer on the “Dead Dog Destroyers”, “MG Fire”, “Milton Greens” and new kids on the block the “Crispy Cod Mariners”. Anyone want to know more about those names, just ask on the day.
- All this excitement will be followed that same evening by the adult Awards evening. We’ll celebrate the various stars of our season.
- And as a curtain closer, Saturday 14th September will be our Juniors Awards day. Lots more detail to follow directly to all juniors but the day will start with our younger players playing challenge matches, have a BBQ for lunch followed by the awards, where we recognise everyone who has played a match. We finish the day with challenge matches for our older juniors.
