Dear All,
As is our custom we are looking forward to celebrating our 2021 Colts cricket season with our Family and Awards Day on Saturday 11th September. We would love to see you there.
We have sent our usual selection invites out to all so you should know what the day has to offer you but as a reminder:
The day begins at 10am when we will be running a skills challenge for our younger members
Alongside this some of our U11s and U13s will be taking part in a Colts and Parents soft ball match.
At 12 o'clock we will be firing up our BBQ - again I think everyone has been contacted with details so if you could order your food to help us with catering we'd be very grateful.
At 1.30 we will be handing out awards - 3 for each of our teams. Come along to hear who who scored the most runs, took the most wickets and who the coaches and managers picked as their player of the year.
Each player who took part in a match for us this year will have something to remember the season by.
After this our senior U13s and U15s will take part in another softball match to round off the day. (Those Colts who played a part in the adult season are also invited to stay on to the Adults Awards event that takes place in the evening)
In addition to the BBQ there will be drinks and various snack available throughout the day.
If you have any questions please let us know by replying to this email. As some of you may remember from years gone by, we do our very best to make the day go ahead - whatever the weather! Mind you, we have our fingers crossed for the sort of Indian Summers days we have generally been lucky enough to enjoy. We look forward to seeing all of you who can make it on the 11th.
