Saturday 10th September saw our Awards Day begin with a very soggy U11's Lads and Dads game. Played on the artificial and trying to avoid slipping on the square, great fun was had by all as pairs of lads and dads did battle. The top three pairs were - in 3rd, Alfie & Sean Penny, in 2nd, Harrison & Guy Etherington and 1st (the ones to beat next year folks...) Tom and Matt Wheeler.
Unfortunately the U15 match vs the "Chairman Chis All-Stars" had to be cancelled, as by that stage we'd have needed aqualungs and goggles rather than pads and helmets.
However spirits weren't dampened too much as the following Awards were handed out:
U11
Most Runs - Thomas Wheeler
Most Wickets - Harrison Etherington
Coaches/Managers Award - Tom Parker
U13
Most Runs - Tristan Collighan
Most Wickets - Freddie Gadd

3rd XI - Promoted 2nd Place

There was then an impromptu and unusual step as the teams loyal spectators offered their own awards - snapped up by Sam Richards and Simon Smith - is this a precedent set?

Most Wickets - Dan Turner
Captains Player - Phil Andrews
1st XI

Special Chairman's Awards were also made:

Also to Mick Berg and Sam Richards for their fantastic efforts for our 3rd XI this year, invigorating the whole club.
We showed our appreciation of all those who do much for the club whether it be on the ground, making teas, administrating, coaching etc etc. without whom....
Thank you to all who attended and to all those who have made 2016 a great season and P&S a club to be proud of.
