Match report A lovely evening of cricket saw the Swans take another victory!
Winning the toss, the Swans skipper elected to field. The first ball of the game resulted in a wicket for Katie with a lovely catch from the catching machine that is Mandy. Samuels and Midge keeping the runs low, Chappers took the second, demolishing middle stump in the fourth. Not happy with doing it once, producing the same ball to claim her second in the seventh. Clanfield struggled with the brilliant bowling display from the Swans and two more catches from Mandy and wickets for Trac and Nikki kept the attack going. Katie on form, claimed another when Clanfield captain Sarah tried to smash the ball past cover but the Swans skipper managed to grab the ball out of the air. A run out from Midge finished off the wicket haul with the Swans taking a nice 7 wickets.
The swans all batted tidily, 2 wickets lost by the fierce bowling of Lydia and Ray and 2 to catches in the field. The pick of the batters, Trac and Mash both putting on a show and smashing multiple boundaries.
