Match report This match failed to match the glorious weather. Despite the good bowling performance led by Jono, maximum points were beyond the home side when chasing the small target ,especially as Langley Manor lost a third successive match.
Oddly, one of the impressive features of the game was the small number of wides bowled by the two attacks. Ironically the final ball went for 5 wides. Another feature of the match, but less encouraging was the lack of decent partnerships. Fawley only managed two stands of 23, for the second and fifth wickets. They were dwarfed by the 57 shared by Jack and Ned for the second wicket.
