Match report A superb diving catch at slip from Rowan set the tone for a much improved fielding performance. Graham & Mike produced their best bowling of the year and at 170-7 keeping them under 200 looked possible but their number 8 had other ideas. We bowled them out in the last over for 266 which on a cracking St James pitch was about par. Joe then belied his young age and hit a quality 58 off only 44 balls to get us off to a flyer and with Rowan adding a quick 30 we were well above the rate. Dewy then shared partnerships of 65 with Mike and 72 with Rob E as he scored a magnificent 112. With Matt injured Rob J hit a couple of boundaries to calm our nerves before Toby hit the winning runs with 8 balls to spare. Chis's phone bill will be huge as he kept in regular touch from Gozo!
