They batted first and Rowna got an early wicket but former P and S bboy Jason and Aussie settled in against some indifferent bowling, skipper rang the changes looking for the right formula the ngot the big wicket himself of Jason clean bowled looking for one hit too many, Toby got the aussie with a peach of a ball but at 160-3 off 30 they looked set for 280 odd. Sam Treagus bowled his best 1st team spell to hold them in check and we kept picking up w ickets with Dave Upton retuening to knock over the tail as they fell away to 218 all out. Their bowling attck was as we expected very strong but Neil and Clem used all their 80 years experience to reple them and put on 98 before they were parted. Wickets then fell as Ali in particular started to make the ball talk. Rowan resisted and hit well to take us close and Ian Rogers and Sam treagus provided good support but it was left to Rob 'Balls of Steel' Evans and the old man to see us home with8 balls to spare for an historic win - Well played Everyone
