Match report So our season (and colts careers - for Jacob P, Max and Harrison) has come to an end. Well done to those lads who have done the club proud.
This fixture was pretty low key as we didn't really post enough runs. The skipper and Ollie were in no trouble and not parted until the 9th over but just couldn't rotate the strike. Ollie again retired to bring to a close a cracking season with the bat (averaging in the 60s). Jacob W added some impetus but fell to their best bowler and we closed on 92 - two down and Sam not having got out of the hutch.
With the ball Harrison and Max started very tidily and their inning began much as ours did. However, the extras started to mount as they expanded their shot making and we ended up being well bested by the unbeaten, deserved champions. Well played all.
Thank you to all this seasons players and to those who have transported them to and from and of course to Matt W without whom... Over and out for the competitive 22/23 season.
