Match report In our first 100 ball experience we lost a very close County Cup game by 2 runs. Burridge got off to a steady start and it looked like we would restrict them to about a score of 100 but they accelerated well during the last 20 balls and reached 113. As we were on an artificial wicket there wasn't much movement for the bowlers and we only took two wickets, one each for the Henry's. Our fielding was generally good until put under pressure in the last 20 balls. Captain Jacob continued his ball striking from the night before and got us off to a great start and when he retired Felix and Talitha kept up with rate and with 20 balls left we needed 24 to win, Henry F hit a couple of boundaries but we finished 2 short. For 80% of each innings we looked the better side but the last 20 balls in each innings proved to be difference, despite that our young side showed we can be very competitive at this age group and will only improve as we play more matches.
