Match report A good day at the office. A terrifc spell from Matt Willaims and hostile stuff from Jamie saw us have them 50 for 5 (again). This time our catching was much improved as Clem & Matty Smith did well behind the wicket. The introduction of Kes saw us turn the screw as his 6 overs yielded 4 wkts for only 10 runs. Our 4th bowler was new boy Graham Chandler, who topped a lively fielding display with some testing inswing bowling and took the last man to fall with a good c&b.
We were confident of chasing the 106 set us and Jack & Clem settled to the task well. Initally watchfull, then Jack particularly, unfurling some fine shots they saw us home with few alarms in 25 overs.
If we can bowl and field as we did today on a regular basis, we'll be a handful for a number of sides. Lets hope we can keep it up.
