Match report A comfortable win with some great individual performances that didn't look likely when we lost two early wickets, Henry fell to the the best ball of the night and Felix was run out by a direct hit. We needed to consolidate and our two left handers got us back on track, Robbie and Talitha put on a 100 partnership with a mix of good running and well timed shots both hitting big sixes. After they had both retired Elliott and Henry took us to a total of 159 with some lusty blows.
When Gosport batted they were always struggling to keep up with the rate needed and wickets fell regularly, both Henry's picking up one each, one of them to a fantastic diving catch from Talitha, Felix and Jacob chipped in with one each and Gia's little away swingers and Sam's off-spinners kept the pressure on but the best performance of the night went to Elliott who achieved a very rare feat in a Colts 9 aside game by taking 5 wickets, 4 of them clean bowled! A super spell of bowling to see us win by 102 runs.
