Match report Sadly the A Team's indoor season started as it began, with a disappointing defeat, which means Div 2 cricket next season and the prospect of an A v B head to head. Well done the B's.
38 extra's, some good batting and a few run out misses left us with too many to chase. Alex was again the pick the of the bowlers.
He proved also to be the pick of the batsmen. While we started brightly enough and were up with the rate through the first 5 overs we fell away as we lost wickets.
All in all this season has been a good learing experience for the young guys in the squad and they will come back stronger next time round. In hind sight I got the balance of the side a little wrong as we were often a batsman light. Still, I would expect the same batch of lads to challenge strongly in the division below next term. Thanks to all.
