Match report A disappointing performance on a night where we started so well with both bat and ball. Put into bat we raced to 45 off 4 overs through Tom and Talitha, Tom being particular severe on anything short but once he had retired the run rate slowed and where we should have reached 150+ we managed 133, the Serpents bowled accurately and fielded well . Harrison batted nicely to retire and Ged and Oscar ran well in the last couple of overs. Again we started well with the ball, with Harrison bowling a maiden and Talitha clean bowling their opener with her second ball which was to be our only wicket of the night and after 5 overs they were 18 for 1. In the first 5 overs we bowled accurately and fielded well, whereas in the last 15 overs we conceded over 50 runs in extras the majority being wides, Tom did a great job behind the wicket stopping the majority of those wides. Henry was our only bowler who didn't bowl a wide and was unlucky not to get a wicket, Ollie's 2 overs only went for 8 runs with only 1 wide. Our fielding also got progressively worse so much work needed there. Onwards and upwards, we have a chance to return to winning ways next week against Locks Heath.
