Match report Purbrook won the toss & decided to bowl first.

We started the game with one man down due to a late injury.

Lenny & Umar opened the batting, keeping their wicket whilst ticking over the runs quickly. Umar retired first with 42 runs. On the way to Umar score he hit a ball over mid on which the fielder gallantly tried to catch, unfortunately the force of the shot injured the fielders hands in the process. The oppositions umpire & Neil praised the boys for, Lenny considerately refusing to run another, Camerons quick reactions in supplying ice pack and Jacob for stepping in as fielder.

Harrison & Lenny continued the run rate, Lenny hitting 2 sixes on a trot meant he quickly retired. Cameron came in scoring at a very fast pace 31 of 16 balls, whilst Harrison contributed in the run rate & managing to keep his wicket. With a total score of 152 & no wickets fallen. Left with a simple task of defending score.
Ben & Harrison Milne opened the bowling, great start for Harrison Milne one of our youngest players,2 overs 3 wickets and only gave away 6. Jacob was first change taking 1 wicket and keeping tidy figures. Harrison and Lenny finished the batsmen off with Lenny taking a wicket and Harrison taking 2 ????3 one a quick reaction stumping from Tom, his team mates teased Harrison saying he can’t take the 3rd wicket as it’s impossible to get a player out twice. Sorry boys Harrison did get the wicket as the coaches made the decision it was well earned, if he had faced the right batsmen he would of prob still taken a wicket. I am sure we won’t hear the end of this scenario all season.
Well done boys a great game all round everyone played sharpe as a button.
