Match report At 54 for 3 from nine overs , it looked possible that the visitors could post a respectable total, but Tom departed at 58, having played some fine shots. Ben looked confident but ran himself out at 66. The last six wickets produced only 11 runs in five overs so there was not enough for the bowlers to defend.
Rajeev and Jono began well. The eighth ball Rajeev bowled at Grierson was met by an ugly swipe and dismissal. Paultons were 4 for one off three overs. Dan bowled eleven dot balls in his spell (as did Rajeev) as well as taking two wickets and with Rajeev caused the most problems for the home side, but the outcome was not in doubt. Six and a half overs were left when the winning stroke was made.
