Match report Good win as a result of a good all round team performance.
Surprisingly Waterlooville decided to bat first on an unpredictable pitch.
Wickets were evenly shared around. Jack Till taking 2 for 4 and George Parvin 2 for 5 with Kai Pidgeon,Joe Sillence, Paul Lowden taking one apiece.
Unfortunately 32 extras were conceded, which gave Waterlooville a reasonable score of 92 to defend. Worthy of specific credit was Sam Brookes who, following an outstanding performance behind the stumps last week, was excellent in the field as was Mark Golledge.
After a slow start P&S batted well with a superb retired knock of 32 n.o. from Tom Benfield, well supported by Sam Brookes 20 n.o., Kai Pidgeon 17, with his new bat, and Jack Till 12 n.o. resulting in us winning with over 3 overs to spare by 7 wickets.
