Match report Firstly, our thanks to Fareham for hosting us at the last minute due to St Js not being fit to use.
Batting first Freddie was soon into his work hitting boundaries off both front and back foot. It was a surprise when he holed out to cover. Tristan N took a while to get used to the slower pitch but exploded into action smiting several huge sixes before nicking a wide one trying to keep the momentum running. With overs running out Joel hit boldly and rather sacrificed himself for the side. All the while Tristan C was working towards his retirement which came with a few balls to go. Umar and Lenny scampered through our last few balls which got us to a very healthy 150+.
We soon got amongst the wicket as Lenny and the Tom rattled the timbers. Teddy too hit the stumps as well as inducing a swirling catch for Tristan C to pouch. As Umar sped through defences, Freddie watched Teddy take a good catch at point from his bowling. Tristan N, Joel and Harrison all helped keep a lid on things but it wasn't until the last ball when Lenny and Tristan C combined for a very tidy stumping and our 8th wicket.
