Match report This was a comfortable victory, achieved with plenty of overs and wickets to spare against a youthful Havant side. Havant chose to bat first and made solid if unenterprising progress, reaching 79 for 2 in 26 overs. At this point, the 47 partnership between Loat and Ransley was broken. Ruston then played the best knock of the Havant innings and helped Loat add 59 in 15 overs. When Loat skied Ben to Keiron at mid on, there were only 9 overs left. Ruston and Turk made the majority of the 45 gleaned from the last nine overs.
Havant struck an early blow with Shaun departing in the fifth over at 18, but this was to be the last wicket to fall. Jack and Ollie in contrasting styles just batted Havant out of the game. Jack gave a difficult chance off the ball from which he reached his fifty, but he continued his excellent form, reaching his second hundred of the league season off only 105 deliveries. Ollie again showed excellent temperament and looks thoroughly at home at number three in the order.
