Match report A good way to sign off.
Joel opened the bowling with plenty of control while alongside him, Tom was even more controlled and picked a wicket thanks to Alex's leaping catch. Freddie's direct hit run out on the turn was a top bit of work and Lenny picked up the final wicket to fall as Tristan completed a regulation stumping.
With the bat, Freddie and Tristan were well in control of our innings right up until Freddie perished one short of retirement. Having played with soft hands all night it was the first time he hit the ball in the air - a lesson for all there I'd say. Tristan made it to retirement just after Lenny had come in to scamper some threes. Alex replaced him and within a ball or three had slammed a 6 to see us home with plenty to spare. Tonight was as good a performance as we've produced all year. A good finish - next year we can put in a real challenge for the top.
