Match report A great win to end our U11A season.

After winning the toss, captain Harrison elected to bowl first. The boys started well with Jack taking a wicket in the first over. Everyone had the opportunity to bowl a couple of overs as they were keeping the run rate pretty low throughout. Stand out bowling definitely goes to Ryan Nay, he took 3 wickets this match doubling his whole season's wicket total. A couple of missed opportunities in the field for additional wickets during the innings but the boys kept Burridge to a score of 103 at the end of the 20 overs. The fielding looked the best it has all season for sure.

Jack and Tom opened the batting, after a difficult match for them last week the team were confident they would get off to a good start which indeed they did. Before both being bowled out to excellent balls they had made a very good start to the innings when Harrison and Ryan came into bat, meaning all they had to do is take it steady to get the next 50 or so runs on the board, something they have been doing well this last few games. They did exactly what they needed to do to win the game giving the As a great record this season of 6 wins, 3 losses and 1 conceded win. Its now a wait to see what the other teams around them do in the next couple of weeks in theit remaining league matches . . .
