Match report We responded to our opening game defeat in emphatic fashion with a ruthless performance against Steep. We lost the toss and Steep elected
to bat and from that moment the contest was over.

Dan Turner opened the bowling and ripped the Steep batting order to
shreds with a devastating spell of fast swing bowling. It was pure theatre
as a procession of batsman were blown away with the sound of the death
rattle resounding in their ears.

Steep were all out for 55 in just 6.5 overs. Dan finished with the sensational figures of 4-24. Harlan dovetailed superbly with Dan and
with some calm fielding from Toby effected a run out from his first over.
Ramesh bowled three dot deliveries before yorking their last batsman to wrap the innings up.

Dan Cleary and Toby began our reply and knocked the runs off with
consummate ease. They took only 6.5 overs to reach our target and in
doing so gained us maximum points. Dan finished on 22 not out and
Toby was 10 not out.

It was a brilliant display and we go into our next match against
Hambledon full of confidence.
