Match report A last ball thriller that just tipped the opposition's way. Excellent batting from Joel and Jack saw us well placed at the 6 over stage but despite Alfie toughing it out we lost the remainder of the side pretty cheaply and had to close on 108.
In the chase Jack took our first wicket with an in-swinging yorker to gain a LBW and he and Lenny combined well for a run out. They swapped roles a little later to effect a second run out. Ryan bowled well in his couple of overs and even snapped up a wicket thanks to a running catch from Lenny's third contribution to the fielding effort. All the while their strongest bat kept them in the game and was facing the final over as Lenny came in. A very tight effort from him was only spoilt as she cracked the penultimate ball for 6 brining the scores level. Deservedly on the winning side she cut the last ball for the final run to see Gosport home.
