Match report Ollie won the toss and elected to bat, as is our usual way. With the help of some loose bowling and some quick scoring, Ollie and Harlan had the score rattling along. In a contrast of styles Ollie had soon retired (with the max possible 30no) having scored three maximums and Harlan having scored eight 3's (and a 1). Nick perished immediately, but Freddie scored quickly and soon retired himself with a maximum of his own in his 26no. Tristan and Josh kept the score moving nicely and we had scored an impressive 172 for 1 off our 12 overs.

Nick and Freddie immediately dried up the run rate, which meant that Fareham weren't really interested in chasing the win and wickets were hard to come by, but Freddie made the breakthrough in the fourth over with a catch by Tristan. Harlan and Ollie kept the bowling tight to force a couple of late run outs and Harlan closed it out with a wicket maiden from a good bit of captaincy which had placed Freddie in the exact position to snap up an outside edge.
For the 3rd game out of 3 we had limited the opposition to well under 100, but a tougher test lies in wait as we have the league leaders up next in two weeks time.
