Match report Despite not being able to fulfil our full league program we did enough to sneak into to finals day in 4th place. A fine batting display in the 1st v 4th semi-final brought us to face Sarisbury for a show down we certainly didn't imagine.
Winning the toss we got to set a score and hope scoreboard pressure could tell. A solitary single off the first over then a flurry of wickets meant we needed JB (again) and Jack to bail us out, which the duly did with top knocks. With some generous extra donations we closed with our second score in the 160's of the day.
With the ball Nick crashed through a couple of their big guns and Jack kept a lid on the scoring. JB collected a couple of key wickets and despite our trying to reciprocate with extras we held our nerve to run out comfortable winners.
Well done to all our players this season who each played a part in what might be considered an unlikely triumph!
