Match report Burridge won the toss and batted first in ideal conditions. Both opening bowlers found plenty of movement, particularly Matt who regularly passed the outside edge in his opening spell of 8-4-14-0. He could hardly have bowled better. Burridge weathered the storm and made sure they used all 50 overs. The home side took 6 wickets in the last 20 overs and crucially, the run rate didn't top 4 per over until the final over.
Matt and Clem got off to a great start. The 50 came up in the ninth over and the 100 partnership was posted in the 19th over. Matt's 50 took 76 minutes. He was first to go, lbw playing back to Burridge's best bowler. Jack was brilliantly caught and bowled at 142 and Matt B was caught on the fence trying to score the winning runs.
