Match report We ended on a high with good win over a decent Purbrook side. Despite Jamie & Alex opening up for us pretty tidily both their openers retired. Thereafter however we turned the screws with sharp fielding and all the remaining bowlers taking a wicket. That left us a target of 129.
As is their style, both Ben & Rowan got us off to flyer with Rowan retiring. This brought Adam & Lex together who, with come good swats to the back wall and some imaginative running, saw us stay with the rate. Rowan came back to hit the back wall a further three times before he was caught with just 2 needed. It was left to Adam & Mark to see us home with 4 balls remaining.
