Match report In a game postponed to the end of the season, Sarisbury won the toss and elected to bat. The county u15 attack of Harry's W and H were right on their game and bowled a miserly opening spell at the respsctful Sarisbury openers, they both bowled straight through their overs and the score was 26 for 0 after the 8 overs. Their batters accelerated with the change of bowling and we couldnt make the breakthrough. Both openers went on to retire, and the No 3 put some impetus into the innings. Nick made the breakthrough and John took 2 more wickets in the last over as Sarisbury pushed on.
132 on a pitch with small boundaries looked achievable, and Harry Wr found the boundary twice in the opening over. Joe was bowled early on but Harry was finding the boundary with regular ease whilst Ollie was ticking along nicely. Harry soon retired with his 2nd 6 of the innings. Harlan joined Ollie and they kept the scoreboard rotating before Ollie was lbw to one that kept low. Harlan chipped a 6, but then played on. John and Harry H then achored the innings, John looked in little trouble before Harry was out going big, John retired with his classy 35no including six 4's. It was left to Dan T to see us home with a 4 off his first ball.
Another strong team display. With only 3 runs conceded as extras we put in as trong batting performance with 130 runs off the bat in the 17.4 overs, with lots of contributors.
