Match report P and S batted first and Bangers Dimesh and Harry got us off to a good start both finding the boundary, but we then lost both of them and Harlan without scoring another run. Jez and Ben were initially careful but became more expansive as they grew in confidence and both retired not out with a mix of singles and boundaries. Joe, Ollie K and Jacob pushed us up to 146 off our 20.

The Hambledon openers were aggressive and both found the boundary regularly before Nick made the breathrough with the help of a catch by Dimesh. Hambledon were ahead of the rate by 10 overs and we only had one wicket. Ollie Smith took a wicket and then a late wicket from Joe saw the pressure building for a tight finish. Hambledon needed 11 off the last 2, Dan Turner held his nerve and took two wickets leaving 6 needed off the last. Joe too held his nerve and we won by 1 run.
A cracking match. P and S sportingly gave the 7 men of Hambledon 4 fielders and let them have 10 wickets when they batted, and still managed to win the game, just.
