Match report This was a strange match. With one ball left of the eleventh over they looked comfortably set at 47 for one. Next ball Kent was caught behind and they never again were in the game. Thereafter, wickets fell regularly. At one stage Keiron and Mike took four for one inside two overs. The innings ended in strange fashion when Charlie Stubbs, hooking, deflected the ball on to his head and played no further part in the game. Hopefully, the lump on his head will soon be gone.
The strange goings-on continued with a 44 opening partnership in which Clem only faced the hostile West Australian, Hagan. At the other end, Tom F hardly played a defensive shot. Clem was out to the first ball he received from Faulkner in his fifth over with the score on 50. Jack then hit 34 off ten balls from Emery.
Three more wickets were lost before Mike glanced the winning boundary.
