Match report Ryde chose to bat first and got off to a flying start. The first wicket fell in the 20th over at 98. Keiron and Ben bowled well in tandem on a pitch that favoured the slower bowlers. Once Keiron's spell ended, the run rate began to rise again but The last 4 wickets fell for only 14 in the last 3.2 overs bowled.
Although Clem went early, Jack and Tom set about the quicker bowlers so that 117 for 1 in 24 overs was a marvellous platform. However, the visiting slower bowlers induced a collapse with 5 wickets going down for 24 runs as the odd ball kept low and with 95 needed from 17 overs, the game was up.
